A chance meeting and first performance together five years ago at Turkey's amazing Cappadox Festival, in Cappadocia, has born incredible fruits of friendship and music for Oceanvs Orientalis and Ilhan Ersahin. The combination of Oceanvs Orientalis main man Safak's downtempo dance sonic signature with Ilhan's jazzy inflections was a perfect match from the get-go, and this musical compatibility has so far resulted in further shows and and two co-written tracks released under Oceanvs' name, "Return Of The Wankers" and "Television." Now comes the release of "Pire," a brand new song which is their first official joint release, with more singles on the way and a full album to follow later this year.
